HomeworkNOOK is an online resource created by Mr. Briganti, a 5th-grade teacher in Shelton, Connecticut. This website provides access to your classroom curriculum, state standards, assignments, and additional learning materials. By using HomeworkNOOK regularly, you can stay on top of your classwork and get the extra help you need to succeed.
Every student has the potential to succeed. In order to do so, an inclusive and supportive learning environment must be created that empowers students to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
PARENTS - THE FIRST TEACHER
As your child's first teacher, you play a big part in how well your son or daughter does in school.
PARTNER WITH ME
I invite you to use the resources on this website to help your child better understand their classwork.
Please use the Weekly Assignments page and the Math Resources page on a regular basis.
Mr. Briganti has been teaching elementary education for the past 15 years. He is passionate about his lessons and absolutely loves that moment when a student "gets it!".
Prior to teaching he worked in the business world for fifteen years so he understands exactly how his students will apply their new knowledge in future careers and that is why every lesson includes a life lesson as well.
Mr. Briganti has been fortunate to have received several accolades for his teaching but the real award is working with kids.
As a father he understands the needs of children beyond academics and he offers a safe and engaging classroom environment. He also knows that parents are always the first and most important teachers and that is why this website was created - so that our classroom is transparent and for learning to continue at home.
